Start looking at the pawn shops near by! I had tools stolen once and found most of them at a local pawn shop. I had them marked with my DL # went in found them called cops told them where I found them. They went and got them for me. I got lucky! I later found the crack head that stole them he got what he had coming to him. He some how got tangled up in a electric fence the next time he went up to my shop to get a few more tools. He was caught in it for almost a hour before I got home to get him out. He then admitted he had stole my tools!

almost twenty years ago.... I had a truck broken into 4 times.....first three times they were not very successful...they were stealing batteries and gas, we had some random junk batteries go missing, and the next night they came back to my truck- smashed the vent window on the drivers door, I heard that, came out and they tried to take off in their pos mustang- but the battery was dead! (it was a battery they stole from me the night before, ha ha!) they took off on foot- but all I had to do was follow their footprints in the mud- called the police, they were there almost instantly, they let the dog out on them, caught two of them in the yard next to us, the officer ''helped'' the one guy over the 8 foot chainlink-barbed wire fence- by grabbing the criminal, pulling him over the top of the fence, and letting him fall to the ground! the dog pinned the other one in a corner. 3rd bastard got away. one was under 18, only community time for that little shit. one guy got 3 months. other gut was caught a few months later.so I installed a alarm system in the truck. few months later, the alarm goes off, I go out to see and there were 2 guys and a girl skulking around my truck- asked them what they were up to, and they said that they had to find a place for the girl to pee.... I told them to go down the street to the 24 hr truckstop to use the bathrooms there....fricken liars-also had noticed that the face of the drivers door lock was damaged.....hmm they left in a hurry, I called police to report it, the cops caught up to them at the truck-stop. not enough evidence to do anything.that weekend the alarm went off again, door was damaged again and ajar...nothing taken. but the next night the alarm went off, I wasn't there for it. neighbor said he heard it go off, and ignored it cuz it shut off almost right away, he thought it was me. when I got to my truck in the morning, some of my stuff was gone...custom built console w/ 12 inch sub and 2 amps, all the cds that were in it (about 50 of them), the two 10 inch subs (one behind each bucket seat) and my dayplaner they knew what they wanted. didn't touch the deck or tweeters on the dash, the box of cds on the floor (100 or more there) my company cell phone, or the change in the cupholder. ALL OF THE WIRING HAD BEEN CUT ON THE ALARM SYSTEM these bastards knew what to look for....the siren wiring was cut, the wiring to the park light flash was cut, the battery main power cable was cut, then a lot of other wires were cut under the hood and dash.found my subs at the local pawn-shop. notified police, got them back a few months later. found out later thru the grapevine that it was an inside job.....remember that girl looking for a place to pee? I found out that she had been dating one of the guys that installed my alarm system. hung out at his work, was curious about stereo/ alarm / command start installs... he thought nothing of it. they split up a few months later, and she started dating her old scumbag jailbird boyfriend- and that's when a bunch of car break-ins started happening. people could not figure out how their cars with alarms were getting looted- she knew the programming for various models, and what was installed where on said vehicles, and where to cut to shut them down. TRICKY BITCHES he got more jailtime, she was charged with accessory for criminal intent. |

Good idea. Sounds like you had most of the contents of a medium-sized pawn shop in your car!

Yeah enough to make probably about 400-800 at a pawn shop. I'm making a list of all the stuff that was stolen. The tools are the problem. Now I cannot do any side work to make money. |

If you can make it up to Longview at some point I can provide some basics for free. Can't promise a lot or any great quality, but I've got a few tools I can give you. |

Here are some pictures. My car was a mess. I think i have a lead to some one selling some oakley jawbone that have the same scratches as mine. There is too much glare in the pictures. I'm gonna meet the guy in vancouver. I hope that the glasses are mine and that is the guy. They broke my dome light and cut all the cables to my amplifier. Now I have to redo all my system for a cheap low profile install and get an alarm. Anybody want to go with me? I'm afraid if I drive my car, if it is him, he will notice and walk away. Plus I want a witness. ![]() |

I'm glad you got it back and it runs. Sucks that they took all your stuff. What kind of subs did you have? If you want a low profile setup, I suggest the all in one woofer boxes that go under the seats. Amazon has some for about $100. I suggest 'Boss' brand stuff. It is cheap and I've had a good track record with it. My 15s are still running from 4 years ago with the same amp I had bought. Speaking of which, if you decide you want a big system, you can have my 15s, the box and the amp if you can help with the shipping cost. |

Have the cops not far behind you, I would. I'd take a different car and surprise I wish I was anywhere near you, I'd come with you and help kick the out of that guy. God, I would absolutely LOVE to come with you. Why can't you people live closer? Seriously though, bring the cops if you suspect he's the guy, or at least a weapon. I'd be leaving with his teeth in a sandwich baggie

If I was closer, I would also have come... this meeting requires a good plan. You got a concealed carry permit? |
