Still new, but learning...

So, I was driving a long, and just minding my own business, when suddenly my tire passed me and landed 3 feet up in a tree. Never mind the sudden onset of noise from the location, it didn't last long enough for me to get to somewhere to make a proper repair.

Driver's side rear. For an expediant not at the home location repair, I'll need everything in this diagram with the exception of items 7-14.

Having the rear shock strut attached to the knuckle with the shock mount will keep me from having to fight the pinch bolt.

Looks like I'm going to get fixed. Simon has the parts.

Had a tire come off a boat trailer one time. Was comming to a stop at a red light and looked to the left and the boat trailer tire went by and rolled across on comming traffic. Rolled up into a gas station on the other side of the street and rolled up to a gas pump and fell over. Just like it was pulling in to get gas.

2000Firefly, the only problem is I may be depending on transit to get around!! I hope to have time tomorrow to get in touch with Simon and see if I can get pieces. The house my car is currently parked at is in Surrey, and the home owner is... wanting to fix things his own way a bit, so we'll see how that goes.

The bearing exploded. The spindle was ok after all though. Fewf.

Glad to hear you or any one else was not hurt. A tire and wheel carry a lot of mass, and would mess someone up. If they don't have what you need, PM me. I have a 90 that will give up the piece's you are looking for.

Good help is hard to find. Friends insisted on doign the repair without me (I had a medical appointment..) And didn't 'notice' the lack of a spacer..
They lasted quite a awhile considering no spacer. Got my new spacers today, putting it back together right this time.
If the car starts making 'bearing explody' noises, going 25km/h and stopping every 10-15km to jack the car up and beat the tire back onto the spindle helps a lot.
