Had my new 5speed 3 cylinder 96 metro a few days now and when I pull out its always an adrenaline rush getting to 40. Remember when they find that dinky truck and they have it floored and he's still catching them? Yahh I feel like that everyday as cars fly up on me lol.

I get that feeling sometimes in my 3 cylinder Metros. My electric ones get up to speed in the blink of an eye, so it is even worse for me to get in one of my gasoline ones after I have been driving electric for awhile. Even as low as gas prices are these days, it is still worth it to have such crappy acceleration.

Until you're stranded on the side of the road with a depleted battery. Your buddy can't bring you a can of electricity to get you to the next charging station... :lol

unless lets say all vehicle batterys were hot swappable standard much like the fuel filler for a gasoline car. go to a service station hot swap battery banks. so i guess kinda like those propane exchange things. i cant wait for electric cars, or a gas car that can perform like a brushless motor with all the torque and horsepower :drool

I hea r they are working on a new diesel motor design that dramatically increases mpg with the use of heat exchangers.
