New full set with a limited lifetime warranty. Really cheap. Probably a really good set for the money. I have a friend ordering them. I'm almost going to buy a set myself.

Can't be worse than old, worn-out OEM ones, right?

Don't be a "Richard"

That set is $17 less than the KYB's that can be bought.
Personally, I would spend the extra $ and get the best before any off brand.

Or wait for the yearly sale on kyb struts in march and the kybs will be even cheaper ;) :rocker

Forgot His Manpurse

I wouldn't feel comfortable with a off-brand here. KYB all the way.

I'm trying to get him to order them. He is being lazy. I have another guy that wants to get them. He said he was ordering them soon. Not sure. I'm trying something else. So I may or may not get a set.

Im wondering what the "Actual" warranty is on these. There are 2 places where it says warranty, at the top it says 1 year warranty, twards the bottom says limited lifetime.

It's limited to its lifetime, which they figure is about one year. :lol

I just ordered two front strut mounts for my 99 off ebay. $51 for both shipped. Best deal I've found yet. Gonna wait until the KYB struts go on sale and then order a complete set. Might even "spring" for some springs.

I'm with you Car Nut, though I haven't decided on the springs yet. I will buy a set of KYB when the rebate comes up. I'm all for saving money but brand trust is something to consider...

Am I the only one who first read the title as "New cheap sluts on the market?" :whistle

And to think that my reading comprehension was ok right up until the day I learned that I was illegitimate. :hmm

Turbo3 and Twincam Tweaker

i used ast struts to replace the ones on my wife's old aveo hatchback. they were about 20% less expensive than the kyb replacements. for the 6 months she drove that car before trading it in on a new chevy spark, the struts were okay - a big improvement over the worn out factory struts that were 7 years old.

in this case, however, kyb struts are tried and true on an sf413 chassis and i have had such good luck with them for 10+ years that i think i'd just keep on using them.

i went through a bunch of struts from ryder, gabriel, and monroe until i hit upon the kyb struts and i know from some pretty intensive testing using a g force meter to record side force skid pad tests that it's hard to beat the kybs on a metro as far as performance goes. ;)
