New cheap struts on the market

2 Swifts n a Turbo Sprint

Koni Yellow in the front and KYB in the back. If you want trackiness while still staying stockish.

KYB all the way around are great for a spunky street setup that's got some good comfort.

I'm with T3 and his opinion on Monroe struts. They are even crap on on a Sunfire, one was blown and one was locked solid in less than a year. I replaced everything in that cars suspension at the same time. The locked one took out it's mount as well. Blown front strut, and a frozen rear strut.

I have made Phonies and they hold up better than Monroes and ride better. Good part about them is they don't self-extend, so they are more friendly to cut springs.

On my 94 I run Phonies in the front and a pair of junk yard Monroes in the back, and it's a pretty good ride. I'd put it above running Monroe's on all 4 corners, but below running KYBs on all four.

My '98 rides on full set of KYBs and mostly urethane bushings with custom springs. It's the best everyday driver I have.

Fun fact, my 94 has the same ride height as my 98 did factory, but my 98 sits at the same height as the 94 did factory.

Thanks Richard :thumb
Really wish I could just find some new OEM springs somewhere. Anybody had any luck in this endeavor?
