Those corner lights are still available here in the Netherlands, don't know if they ship to the states: https://www.winparts.nl/verlichting-lampen/stadslichten/suzuki/swift-ii-hatchback-ea-ma-bouwjaar-1989-03-2005-12/c102-428-11756.html
Wow, that's under $10! Maybe we should arrange a group buy, you willing to ship them to the States Peenutzz?

I would be in for a couple sets also. That would mean 6 sets total shipped to 1DcGuy's place. I'd pick them up at the 2016 Minnesota meet. :thumb

Heck, if folks attending the Minnesota meet want some, and are willing to pick them up at the meet, we pretty much have a group buy all by ourselves. :deal

I can see it now.........dozens of us swapping corner markers at the meet. :gamerz

Heck why not just make it ten pairs and who ever comes to the Minnesota meet could have a chance to have some, they could also be a door prize???? :D

I don't know why, but the link points somewhere else now. Doesn't matter, I can ship a bunch to your side of the pond :) Figure out how many you guys want and we can work something out, no problem. Maybe someone can open another topic, because we are kind of hijacking this one. I'm off to bed now, goodnight :zzz

Of course it cut off the first post from the previous page when I pulled this out. Here is the original post.

Nice writeup! You forgot the 89-91, with the checkered tail lights. The best looking one IMHO, that's why I transplanted the lights from my old 91 to my 95 :)

Edit: Four years ago I built a Justy GTi, very awesome, until it got rear ended twice within two months. Here's a link for those interested: http://teamswift.net/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=47787&hilit=Justy+gti

Are they glass vs. plastic?
Q: for the brain trust will they fit a metro front end or just a swift front end (headlights)?
I'm in for a set!

I'll grab a couple sets as well. Not sure of the most practical way to ship. I'd love to go to the Minnesota meet, but can't make any sure promises yet.

Edit: Never mind... I don't feel like making modifications. :P

the european clear corners aren't just a bolt in deal for us domestic market cars.

you have to do some intricate grinding work to the steel brackets that mount either the metro or swift headlights.

the euro clear corners have a slot that fits a tab on the glass swift headlights that is useless on the north american plastic composite headlights so you have to use a dab of silicone or adhesive to make them attach to the headlight. and then the bulb socket interferes with the steel bracket on the outboard side of the headlight which is why you have to grind a relief into the bracket,

they'll fit, it just takes some work to make them fit. on the other hand, if you replace the dot approved headlights and refit e code headlights, the clear corners fall right into place. ;)

T3 is right, they aren't a bolt-on. They are plastic and are mounted with two screws and a tab that hooks onto the headlight. They will stay in place without the tab, I know because I once broke one. They also got (glass) headlights, around 50 dollars for two of them.
