I would be in for a couple sets also. That would mean 6 sets total shipped to 1DcGuy's place. I'd pick them up at the 2016 Minnesota meet. Heck, if folks attending the Minnesota meet want some, and are willing to pick them up at the meet, we pretty much have a group buy all by ourselves. I can see it now.........dozens of us swapping corner markers at the meet.

Heck why not just make it ten pairs and who ever comes to the Minnesota meet could have a chance to have some, they could also be a door prize????

I don't know why, but the link points somewhere else now. Doesn't matter, I can ship a bunch to your side of the pond Figure out how many you guys want and we can work something out, no problem. Maybe someone can open another topic, because we are kind of hijacking this one. I'm off to bed now, goodnight

Are they glass vs. plastic? Q: for the brain trust will they fit a metro front end or just a swift front end (headlights)? I'm in for a set! Edited by brsja, Feb 12 2016, 11:42 AM.

the european clear corners aren't just a bolt in deal for us domestic market cars. you have to do some intricate grinding work to the steel brackets that mount either the metro or swift headlights. the euro clear corners have a slot that fits a tab on the glass swift headlights that is useless on the north american plastic composite headlights so you have to use a dab of silicone or adhesive to make them attach to the headlight. and then the bulb socket interferes with the steel bracket on the outboard side of the headlight which is why you have to grind a relief into the bracket, they'll fit, it just takes some work to make them fit. on the other hand, if you replace the dot approved headlights and refit e code headlights, the clear corners fall right into place.

T3 is right, they aren't a bolt-on. They are plastic and are mounted with two screws and a tab that hooks onto the headlight. They will stay in place without the tab, I know because I once broke one. They also got (glass) headlights, around 50 dollars for two of them. |
