I'm totally awesome! I swear.

I just love a story with a happy ending, one where the bad guy gets what he so richly deserves. Unfortunately, the robbery victim is the one that's facing serious charges, while the one that actually deserved the in-car-serration, will likely wind up with little more than a slap on his other wrist. :shake

At first I was wondering if that would have been considered armed, or unarmed robbery? :hmm

But I guess at the time of the robbery he was still armed... :thumb

I wonder if they returned the Jordan's to the guy so he can wear them in prison. Where, by the way, I'm guesing he'll get more than robbed of his shoes... :O

I guess 1 arm Zachary Sam will have to start wearing slip-on loafers or over priced sneakers with Velcro straps? Do Air Jordan's come with Velcro strap?

*sneaker-snicker*

Some "solutions" are actually just the beginning of your problems, even if they seem facile, and handy at the time.

Oh, the irony...."Man loses arm trying to steal shoes". There is nothing I love more than seeing criminals get instant karma.

I am guessing Mr. Pierre wasn't white, otherwise all we'd be hearing is, "Black arms matter! Black arms matter!"

Great question.

Which makes me wonder, if they're arresting a deaf person, and they've got the handcuffs on 'em, do they just skip over the part about them having the right to remain silent. :hmm

"Pierre, 39, drives away slowly, but then makes a sharp U-turn and rams Sam, pinning him under the car and a fence. The teen hopped up and staggered away, his sleeve flapping. The arm and the gun were discovered at the scene, officials said."

I think the headline should have read something like:

"Would-be Thief Caught Red-handed While Attempting To Fence Stolen Goods"

I guess the thief still got the last laugh, as, normally, a pair of those Air Jordans would run you an arm and a leg. ^o)

No, you are off track. When they mirandize a deaf person they have to mime it. They do not have to mirandize a person who cannot talk.

How, by showing them their shields...and Yarnell?

Nope. They just need some A S _ _ _ L _ cop to ask them if they'd like to buy a vowel.

Perhaps he was getting them for a Valentine's Day gift, even if it was a bit underhanded in the way he went about it? But you gotta admit, a red-covered shoebox, truly is the hallmark of Valentine's Day greetings.

Hopefully, his SO was at least impressed with the thought behind it; so much so that they got him something equally thoughtful, like one of these.
