Trying to get a stereo out to fix the speaker connections in the back

Looks like maybe 1/4 inch slit on each side to get something through to unlatch.

Help.... Thanks :)

You need the removal tools, like these. If you can wait a day or so I have a couple I could drop in the mail to you. Shoot me a pm with your info if you want them.

I will try and get a pic, and PM sent, Bjet that link to tools looks very much small enough that it could do the trick.

There are 2 flaps on the sides of the deck. These tools will unhook them. Their in the mail.

Here is the pic of the right side. See the small slit in the side, maybe only 1/4 inch but very slim.
I can get my hand through the glove box with the back of the glove box removed, even get my fingers right up to the side/front of the stereo but can't find anything to push on.

This stero is very snug/tight. I have the face plate removed, if you are observant you can see I have cracked and missing molding... not at PNP and I am out as well. Put just a little pressure on the molding and it shattered.

Huge THANKS :thumb to Bjetmech for offering, link and boom into the mail. Wow.

I would try a nail file, or go to O'reilly's and get one of those universal stereo removal tool kits.

Here is a pic of the deck cage. I must have thrown out the last deck I had so this demo won't be very clear.
You can see the flap that goes down the middle towards the rear of the cage by my middle finger.

Here is a pic of the tools again.

You put the tools down inside the slot all the way that they go and push the deck from the rear and it should slide out.

I think I be waiting for the tools in the mail, but a nail file might have worked.
