See the pics below for your enjoyment:

New to me I think it is a 91 faded red Gt, newly named Ralph.

Bad, no transmission, pretty dusty, faded paint, no e brake, hole in drivers seat, really bad windshield cracks, rear defroster lines are most all bad, dented fenders, dented hood(That is why the windshield is cracked up I believe, came undone and smacked the windshield, bent hood arms too.)

Good, newer wheels/tires, interior is complete, lots of spare parts along with, some winter and other tires along with, carpet is okay, as both factory fog lights but one is cracked, newer suspension springs in the back, very good has a cross brace bar, glass head lamps.

Well, no not really.... a lot of work to get it in running condition again. Cleaning takes as long as any kind of body or engine work, and windshields take quite a bit as for me on the cheap, I get a used one for like $20 and so I have to take two out and install one good one.

But thanks, as it is really hard to find a gti engine let alone a almost complete car with some extras, even though it needs a lot of help.

you may have seen my project thread may have not, I had repaired seats that were like that only worse, I used some foam from another seat some spray glue and cut the foam to build up the part that was worn out, then I used a patch that you would see on the knees of a kids jeans, iron it on and use a hook needle and do a loop stitch, takes a while hand sewing it but my seats look great and have held up very well for many many miles

We could probably use a tutorial on this, since a lot of our rides suffer with this affliction. Hint, hint. :lol

Yep, been following your project updates.... very nice repair job...I need to look at that when I get ready to repair the seat.
