No surprise that about half of them are pe-tard-strians dumbfucking out into traffic with a cellphone pressed to their head.

I agree that people with cellphones are idiotically distracted, but there weren't any in that video. One girl with a white coat on looked as if she may have been on the phone, the other thirty or so were not.

Grr

yeah the fact that many of them were NOT on phones and WERE in fact paying attention is what kept a lot of them alive.

Self-Declared "Genious"

Some of those were the driver's fault, and many of those drivers were likely going way too fast, but I still can't help but to think how stupid most of those people are; just not paying a lick of attention to the world around them... cell phone or not!

I'm totally awesome! I swear.

You gotta love that one, at the 00:17 mark; "So there I am, leaving the store, when it suddenly hits me...I forgot to buy milk!" :banghead

The ones on foot move REAL fast, once they notice something big hurtling at them in a hurry.

Whats with most of these kind of videos being in Russia or some other eastern European looking places ? Are they really that much worse a drivers or do they just film driving more ?? I swear 80 % of these driving fail videos seem to be somewhere in that region.

Lack of safety regulations and/or easy to bribe to get past them.

I was kind of wondering that, or as was already mentioned just less safety regulations ?

The deal with Russia, etc. is that there is a HUGE problem with drinking and driving, plus just bad driving in general. The corruption/bribery is another issue so people want to document things. Dash cams are almost ubiquitous over there.

This came in real handy when that meteor exploded over Russia a few years ago. They had so many videos from cars that they were able to figure out the exact trajectory of it.

I don't have time to watch this one now but will later. Lookup "Russian dash cam videos" if you really want to see a lot of nonsense. If you think driving is bad here, these take the cake.

Take a look at this: http://www.carbuzz.com/news/2013/1/20/DFA-Drunk-Driver-Drives-Destroyed-Corolla-7712608/

I have seen some like this from Indian reservations in the US too. Some woman was drunk/on drugs and flipped her car over and rolled it like ten times in an intersection. Her family members were all ejected and she wasn't even aware. The destroyed car landed upright and she just kept on driving! Somehow it kept going although it wasn't as bad as that Corolla in Russia. The cops caught up with her several miles later and she was unaware of what happened or that the car she was driving was completely destroyed.

If I totalled a car & the weather were that cold, I would also try to drive it. Looks like the brakes worked.
