How about a G10 Turbo Section; New Topic

I think a G10 turbo section ought to be implemented. Being that fitting a G10 for turbo is a HIGHLY specialized operation which requires much forethought, planning, calculation, and $$$$$. It would be helpful for others who are thinking about going turbo, and at the same time would help promote the continuation of enthusiasm for our little cars.

Thats pretty much what I do as well, read on teamswift, hang out here :thumb

Same as with another request someone had to add some sections to the site, I question whether there would be enough action in it to warrant it. I think a lot of the times the ideas of creating sections or subforums is a proposed solution to a loosely related problem which is finding stuff within the forum.

That may not be the case here but for me, I find rather than using the forum search if I use google search with "site:geometroforum.com" in the search I usually hone right in on what I want, and when I can find what I want right away then I don't feel the need to change the way stuff is cataloged on the site :news

Google search example

I started a thread a while back where I was hoping to pick t3ragtop's brain about turboing a regular G10. He had previously expressed some negative experiences trying to turbo regular G10s. Unfortunately he never saw the thread- he had some challenges outside of here. I would love a t3ragtop thread where he talked more at length about that. A whole section seems overkill, though.

Just make sure you actually buy/check out the books on turbocharging and read them cover to cover. There is a lot of misinformation on the forums about a lot of things including turbo charging. Like above there is a section for it already, but most of the information is randomly built into people's project builds. Which is arguably a lot more interesting to read then the books.
