Self-Declared "Genious"

![]() One of my biggest pet peeves, listed in that ad, are people not posting pictures. Do you seriously think that you are going to sell me a $3,500 Metro if you can't be bothered to post a picture? I don't care if it's a wrecked $100 Metro with rotted out frame horns, I still expect multiple pictures. Now almost 10 years after that ad was posted, it's even easier to post pictures today! That was made before the iPhone even came out. Instead of uploading photos from a digital camera to the computer like me, with everyone having smart phones, all you have to do is click the high-quality picture and ship it straight to your E-Mail, facebook, or whatever. Heck, just post the ad from your phone! Maybe that's why the spelling and grammar are getting worse, yet they still can't post a picture. |

When I visit "sketchy" websites and the like, I would instead use my dial-up connection. Your IP links back to the location of the number you are dialing at your ISP. When I had unlimited long distance, I would dial into a free dial up service in California, and my IP linked to some city in California. I would also do this with websites that limit your daily use such as certain research websites that give you so many free searches and the like.

Actually most fast food places, etc. block sites of a questionable nature. I have had calls about this. Someone doesn't have internet at their place so only uses public hotspots. They call me with an "error message" and I look it up and it will appear that many public places have a blocker of one kind or another on their networks. I guess they don't want porn, etc. being displayed at their location for others to see. I understand airlines are the same way. I have installed McAfee Safe Eyes for several customers and the way this one works is pretty slick. Questionable results don't appear and it is like anything you might find just doesn't show on the computer. It is like all porn sites no longer exist. Besides if you don't want someone crazy off the net finding you, there are always proxy servers/VPNs. Conor |
