Not that long ago, if you were speeding (or littering) in Japan, you might find one of these pulling you over. There is no information on whether this has a big block engine (and no I am not talking about a 440 cu in. V8 Interceptor engine)

We had some here in Canada also. ((( MK 2 and MK3 both body styles ))) They were used for traffic ticket / parking / enforcement . OPP Police have a Tracker on a modified Trailer used to simulate accident and seatbelt safety.

Problem was that just like Group B rally cars, they made too much horsepower, and it left a lot of traffic officers injured, or even ( god rest their little souls) killt. |

They did the same thing stateside, at least in Los Angeles. Gary's right-hand drive Metro was originally from the Los Angeles parking enforcement fleet. Project 94 RHD Metro
