Econo Loader EL for short; 1994 4 door low boy flat bed.

So I got another Geo, I call him Econo Loader, as it is a 4 door and I want to make a flat bed out em. EL for short.

It's a 94, and... bad drivers side door handle and window regulators need lubed.

He has had a ruff life in the hands of the previous owner....front end was smash and then fixed up... kinda, hood, bumper, both fendors replaced and the top cross member was cut out then screwed together. It is a right dirty car... extremely dirty. But seats are good, original radio/deck, and a fuse cover.... never seen one of those on any of my geos before.

It has AC, which is nice as I do not have to add it.

What I did for it today was try to take it to the DMV emission check but the lock door light was on and I thought it was the check engine light.... :-/ So I put a spare fuse in the engine code slot and it signals 1 2, all is fine. Then I see in my old man bad eyes that it is the door lock light. :thumb But I miss my emission check appt. :x :coffee

Pics shortly.

Cool, nothing a good bath can't fix. That mirror is either a Swift or an Esteem mirror.

Looks like a good project. I end up with all my tools in all my vehicles and hauling all sorts of things that most people wouldn't believe will fit in a Geo. It would be nice to have a small work designated vehicle. Having a 12 foot long roll of carpet is always a memorable experience in a Geo. Having a loader vehicle will be useful, especially one that does cost $20 to run to the local hardware store and back. Are you planning on actually putting a bed on it or just cutting out the back and leaving it open?

I would like to put a deck on it. We will see.

I had to give $400 for it.
