I am so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I pray you're able to find peace during this time of loss.

I am the one on the left.

Hugs to you, during this sad time. Like you said, he's not in pain anymore, so that is a good thing. It is a hard thing to go through, and your friends here wish you the best, so, hugs from me.
I'm sorry it happened.

I feel your pain, it's not easy to loose a parent. Just lost my father recently too and my mother passed in 95. Time will heal the wounds but the memories will go on forever. Keep your head up.

Dad died 44 years ago--Mom died 32 years ago. I Still have moments of grief.
Time don't heal, just makes the moments less often.

It does not matter how old you are when your parent passes.. You instantly become a little kid that just lost his mommy or daddy. Take comfort in the fact that you will always have your memories of better times together.

Love that you had a song like "bad to the bone" and could play that, really one of the songs I enjoy. Yeah, miss my Dad too, and being able to ask him questions and visit with him about life. I think of him often.
