Well, I've been putting this off for a long time, and I just need to do it. So here it goes...

Around November this last year I bought a Geo Metro on Copart for a grand total of $75 including fees. It said "Engine taken Apart" but upon looking at it I found that the valve cover had been broken somehow :ermm: ??? So I got it on a trailer towed it home and here she is :'(

As you can see, it didn't go so well... the trailer ramp bucked up and moved over while I was rolling the car off :banghead

So after a couple weeks I got enough free time to pull the car in the garage and take the engine out and do a complete rebuild. This included worked head, bored block, resurface the crankshaft, new bearings, the whole works! Unfortunately I failed to capture the pictures all I have is one of the engine installed

and while I was at it played with a rim that came with the car

Shortly after I got the engine installed I had to remove the fuel tank and replace it with a new one and after putting fuel in it found out the tank was bad :rofl Great just my luck lucky for me I know of a super secret rolled Geo in the woods (may or may not have been a friends).

I then began Cleaning the nasty interior while also doing some work on the door hinges and bushings because my doors were sagging really bad. I would have to struggle to even to get it to close.

Got the door off and found out my problem! It wasn't bushings The hinge was shot! lucky I have more :lol :rocker :rocker :rocker :rocker

Is there a YouTube video of that Geo being jumped a whole bunch of times then pushed sideways down a hill by a group of young guys?
