Suspension noises

My metro has a couple different suspension noises right now. I get a pretty hard clunk I can feel in my feet when going over speed bumps or entering driveways. And I get a metal on metal rattle when driving on a rough road. Also, my new cv joints are bad after only 6k miles

Time to evaluate your front struts... They won't normally kill an axle, but the clunking over speed bumps is a dead giveaway. Not too terribly complicated but can be time consuming if you choose to keep the springs. Loaded struts might be the quickest and easiest swap.

Could be the strut mounts. Could also be your frame horns are rusted out.

Could be a number of things. Any time i got a clunking noise like what your referencing, it was either one of 2 things or a combination of the pair, Lower control arm ball joint, or the tie rod ends.
