My metro has a couple different suspension noises right now. I get a pretty hard clunk I can feel in my feet when going over speed bumps or entering driveways. And I get a metal on metal rattle when driving on a rough road. Also, my new cv joints are bad after only 6k miles |

Time to evaluate your front struts... They won't normally kill an axle, but the clunking over speed bumps is a dead giveaway. Not too terribly complicated but can be time consuming if you choose to keep the springs. Loaded struts might be the quickest and easiest swap. |

Could be the strut mounts. Could also be your frame horns are rusted out. |

Could be a number of things. Any time i got a clunking noise like what your referencing, it was either one of 2 things or a combination of the pair, Lower control arm ball joint, or the tie rod ends. |
