Ok guys and dolls here's my issue.
Driving down the road minding my own :drivin when all of the sudden my rear speakers cut out and no more Barry mannilow :'( Just kidding but seriously my speakers work one minute then they quit until I turn on a turn signal then they come back for a little bit the cut off again. I'm thinking maybe there is a grounding issue but not sure.
Any advice or thoughts of your own?
Thanks a million

I would look on both ends of the wire for which ever speaker is cutting out for wire connectionso that have been spliced and taped. If they are all cutting out, I would pull the deck and fix any connections that have been molested.

Turbo3 and Twincam Tweaker

speaker wiring does not share any connection to the car's electrical circuits except through the radio. the plus and minus speaker leads run directly from the radio's output transistors. if you even try to connect a speaker ground to chassis ground it will fry the radio.

part of the protection of the radio is built right into the head unit. if you play the radio at high output when it is unduly hot, the thermal overload protection kicks in and mutes the output until it is reset. it might just be a condition of a hot summer and a weak factory radio. ;)

Fronts still working?
If you leave the indicators on, does the radio keep working indefinitely?

Front still work correct, and no sometimes they stay on a minute then shut off, just thought it was crazy they come back on reliably when i hit a turn signal
