I bought the Felpro head gasket kit at Auto Value parts store and the valves and head bolts came from 3Tech Performance.

Under $200.00 for parts. You can find cheaper head gasket kits on Ebay for like $50.00

Where do I buy the valve spring compressor you have in your form ? Or any other type that will work ? I also need a magnetic valve keeper removal tool . damen1005

Just use a socket, put a socket over the valve spring that is the same or slightly smaller in diameter, put a shop rag over the top of it, grab and hammer, and give it one good HARD wack.

Done.

To reinstall, place the keepers in position, place the socket over the valve, and press down manually HARD, they should fall right in place.

This method worked for me.

Are the head bolts to be replaced as I understand on later model as on the 89-92 3-bangers when rebuilding the cylinder head?

Unless they came from 3tech.
