Wow!!! That is sweet! What is the total investment amount in making one? Do you have to "dial it in?"

Thanks man, total was about $65 but I screwed up a couple cases before getting right. And bought 4 sets of switches. So someone else could build for like $45-50 I would imagine. Just use these switches alot easier to do.

I used (2) 4"x2"x1" project boxes from Radio Shack, http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2062280&cp=2032058.2032230.2032276&parentPage=family

And the switches from the shack too. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2062508&cp=2032058.2032230.2032278&pg=4&parentPage=family

If you took pics during construction you should turn this into an instructional...

Build them for under $50.00, package them up with an instruction sheet, and sell them for $100.00 :)

It is a MPG meter. It will tell you your average and instant miles per gallon. Having instrumentation like this gives you instant feedback on your driving style. You can then adjust your style to achieve the highest number for MPG and continuing to do so really adds up in the long run.

Ok, well I have been testing my driving the last week and half with the Guino. Last week to and from work which is 3.5 miles roughly one way all in town, I was getting 37-38Mpg (according to Guino, which is not fully calibrated yet) This week same settings and using Pulse &glide techniques I achieved 55 Mon, 58 Tues, 59 Wed, 64 Thurs, and 69.8 Mpg today. I am loving this little thing, I am on my way to smashing my last tank record. :popcorn :cheers

Just wait and see when I eventually fill up, I believe it will convince anyone to buy one of these babies.
