I just recently had to replace several studs on a customer car that put some cheap aluminum wheels on his metro. Thicker aluminum casting meant less available thread on the stud, using stock nuts. Stripped the last 1/4 inch of the stud clean. I replaced the studs, got them some different lug nuts, all is well!
What kind of different Lug Nuts?

I just received the alloy wheels from kurtis1971. (thanks btw)

My 93 has 10mm studs so the extra rim thickness concerns me. I'd like to engage as much thread as possible.

The only long nuts, that I could find in 10mm, are ET Style open ends.

I'm not sure if these are the ticket or not.

I have seen a couple metros pictures showing 3 spoke or triangle wheels, can anyone recommend a make and model for a wheel with this look?

thanks
Dave
