Well made some headlight covers tonight. So I figure take some pictures of them. Also picture of my lower bumper hole covering. Will let you guys know the differance.
First up pictures of the bezels not on the car. I used some hobby lexan that was .40 thick. Costed me 4 bucks for the little sheet of 17 x 17 in size plenty for both ones. I revited them on for more of speeder/race style. :D

The bumper gap I used my licence plate for the main part since I needed to have it. Then to the passenger side used a scrap piece of black plastic to fill that gap.

My next thing is the hood to bumper gap and lower airdam. But those will be done after it gets lowered.

I saw this and was wondering if the plastic covers distorted the headlights in some way? It seems like a fairly easy way to improve the air flow over the car.

I have been wanting to do this to my car for a long time now, but with the winter months coming, it may wait till spring. Thanks for sharing that! Did you use a heat lamp to form the cover at all or just rivet in place?

It thin enough to not need any heat. Drove home in the dark tonight and don't even notice a differance with the covers on.

But I did all these mods when I had about 120 miles on the tank and filled up tonight at 197 and got 36 with it. Will see what full tank run with this stuff going to be. Also been trying different gas stations to see what I get the best with. Got a full tank of non ethanol 87 right now

I've seen this done and liked the idea. The problem has been finding a source of thin Lexan. The local sign shops have the thick stuff that won't bend like the thin stuff will. Where did you get the Lexan that you used?

Look up a R/C hobby shop is where I got mine from. They can get it in alot of different thickness.

Next big checked of the list was lowering it. It now sitting about 2 inches lower than was all around it looks sweet. Also notice the first drive that it doesn't take as much gas pedal to do the speed limit. Will see the improvement when I fill up. Also pictures tomorrow as it sits.

Nice job, :thumb I am thinking about adding a couple of rivets to mine as well. My Lexan how-to.

You should look into Hacksaw's gap filler for the hood to, I saw it at the meet and it looked really good (OEM look) and simple.
