I got some rear springs off a 97 junk car (4 door) and I was curious if they would fit the front of my 94 swift. I plan to cut them a coil also. As it is now I get a lot of body roll especially in the front. Thanks for any help!

On my 95 parts car and 98 sedan, the springs are different diameter, the fronts are wider than the rear. I dont think the rears will be wide enough to properly seat in the struts and mounts. May be wrong though. |

I had a feeling that might be the case. Thanks for the reply |

Yeah, they're way different sizes. The fronts mount over the strut, the rears do not, so they're much smaller. Put sway bars on it, that will tame your roll. Bolt right on except for the rear mounts. They're easily fabbed up using a couple of steel plates, inside and outside the spare tire well. |

Thanks Woodie, I have mounted sway bars front and back but I still have bad body roll. Im going to ad the stiffer springs and cut them a coil along with adding new struts. I'm sure that will fix my bad handling issues. |
