91 geo metro 2door hatch 1 ltr. 5 speed This is the biggest headache I have had to deal with on a Metro. When I turn right (only) the front end shakes violently and pushes to the left in the curve. this is what I have done so far: Replaced Rack & pinion Inner and outer tie rods Tires and wheels Wheel bearings and housing Hubs lower swing arms 4 wheel alignment (twice) The horns are in great shape (no rust) I need help what else could it be???????????? |

If you have been through all that and your alignment guy couldn't find any thing wrong, Its haunted. Better due an exorcism. |

Liter is abbreviated just L, not ltr Only thing I can think of is does it happen if you make the turn in neutral, because it sounds like your passenger cv doesn't slow down to correctly make the turn. |

Replacing the drivers side front shock has helped considerably,It has not removed the shimmy completely but has made it better, to the point I can wait to buy new shocks this is a used shock out of a donor car. Rockauto.com has the lowest prices I have found yet at $145.00 set of four KYB Excel. Thanks for everyone's input.... |
