Unless your compression on 1 and 2 is 70Kpsi (which is a weird mix of units) You might not be doing your check correctly. Are your plugs soaking wet with oil and gas? I suspect a burnt valve on 3 and/or a blown hadgasket |

apologies I was using lbs for unit of measurement I disconnected the injector plug so that no fuel was pumping in I have a manual on order so I may just check the head out Thanks |

70 psi is very low for compression on these engines. Normally for a compression test you want the fuel injector disabled, spark disabled and all the plugs removed and the throttle held wide open. If the throttle is not open it can reduce the compression results. I normally see about a 30 psi drop. With the compression low it might not make as much difference. |
