Alright so I need help with my Prizm. I hope its ok to post this on a Metro forum. So I have owned my Prizm for about a month now and Ive been having power steering pump issues. I keep losing the fluid over a period of days until I start hearing some humming when steering and thats when I usually refill the resivoir. I just replaced the Power steering pump Saturday and I'm still losing fluid. I tried to find a cap to replace mine and I swear NO ONE in Marysville CA has one. Not Oreilly Auto Parts, not Autozone, not Hust Bros, and not even Riebes auto parts. Could someone guide me to where I could find a power steering cap and for a decent price? Please and Thank You.

If you are certain that you are leaking fluid from a defective power steering fluid reservoir cap, a replacement part should still be available for the same year Toyota Corolla from a Toyota dealer, or a used one from a Pic n Pull wrecking yard.

I doubt it's the cap, more likely the rack seals are leaking.

I'm thinking its the cap cause theres fluid in top of the reservoir. Chevy dealership had no cap for me.

the 93-95 Corollas had the option of a manual rack, if you can find one in the Pick n Pull convert it to manual steering and never worry about a power steering pump again.
