gaskets / home made vs. factory store; tips

Well I found the vacuum leak on tbi . The "right" gasket just did not cover it well enough . I got a roll of gasket maker .And I cut out the gasket a tiny bit bigger.And I only cut the holes that the trottle body needed. the gaskets from the store have a bunch of extra cut outs .

do you still have your watercolors from when you were a kid ice? if so you can paint the bottom of your TB-place it on the gasket material-viola instant gasket pattern-

there are several different types of gasket mat. Just like preformed gaskets, as well as 'gasket goop', some react to fuel/oil others do not. Some handle heat better and some do not. Be sure to use the correct type.

Do you happen to still have the gasket with too many holes? Would be interesting to see what created the vacuum leak. Could you post a picture of it?
