Well got the thin wheel out and cut my springs alittle to get the metro alittle lower to the ground. Ended up with just about a coil and a 1/2 on all 4 springs. The front is sitting alittle higher than the rear for fender well gap goes. I think it about 2 inches lower than it was. Barely any body roll in it since it doesn't take much it for the front bumpstops to hit. I would suggest to others if you hate rough riding car don't cut as much as I did. But I don't care as this is a work beater car for me. One the drive home I could tell I didn't have to push the gas pedal as hard to keep speed. Now onto the pictures.

Don't mine my jeep in the background that other project I got going. Just pick up the tires for it 37 inches tall. The ones on the front of it now are just because I don't have anymore jack stands.

That car has a really nice stance lowered. Good job! I want to lower mine, but I get pretty bad snow drifts out in my area and may need the extra clearance.

I lowered just the front on mine, rear was sagging bad when I got it home. I dropped front around 1 to 1 1/2" I am quite pleased with it now. I don' t think I will go any lower for reason Johnny mentioned.

Nice stance on yours, and I love that Jeep I have owned 3 Wranglers now. My fav was the 02 TJ with 35" on a 6" lift.

The jeep in the background is why I owned a metro now. When it gets done it will have dana 44 front rear, 5.13 gears, and 37 tall tires.

Drove on alittle trip and got 43 mpg with it. But I got fix the exhaust sooner than I thought. It broke off in front of the cat yesterday so kinda straight pipe. Also took the hubcaps off and cleaned the white walls up. Look pretty cool that way.

Took a picture at walmart next a stocker today with my phone. Also in the picture you can see my latest change. Drilled 10) 2 1/2 holes in the rear bumper to help let the traped air out.

What's that horizontal piece of sheetmetal below your rear window???

Just kidding with ya about not havin' the average hatchback...I like the 2 1/2" holes. I wouldn't have even noticed them in the pic unless you pointed them out. That should be a measurable mod...nice job and good thinking!
