I know I'm reinstalling Firefox in March, version 52 will be the last one that supports XP :( . Although I will continue using it long after.
What a shame they are disabling all XP support! I know it might be time, but still very sad.

Man, do I miss the interface of my Win 95/98 machines. BUT, the latest and greatest browsers on these machines are still clunky and dated, and will not handle most modern sites. IE 5.5/6, or Firefox 1.5/2.0.0.2 are the last updates. However, Netscape Navigator 9 (same as Firefox 2.0.0.2), in conjunction with Ad Block Plus and disabled Javascript (unfortunately kills embedded Youtube, but also kills modern ads that gum up the works), works seamlessly with GMF. I still use it daily on my Win 7 machine for GMF! :rocker

Upon further review, I mainly miss my DOS 6.2/Windows 3.1 machine. It booted up to the DOS command prompt, and you had to manually type WIN to load windows. It's still hooked up in my basement, and dial-up ready with IE 5 and a 28k modem. It's just so painful on modern sites. I miss the 90's/early 2000's internet, and all of it's glory. It was a curiosity, and kind of a lost world of small mom and pop shops, per se. Modern internet is so commercialized, that it's not fun anymore. Too much cloud integration! I prefer connecting to the internet when I please, as if it were another program on the computer, as it used to be, and loading actual software from physical media.

Seeking the Science of MPG

I read an article in a magazine at work which said something like: "Soon with the future internet things you'll be able to shout your wishes into the air and without even knowing which Voice recognition device you're talking to your wishes will be processed." To me that sound plainly insane and lazy, already one of my good friends has lost the ability to spell correctly due to using Cortona for the past two years and never typing or write on paper just voice commands everything. I was originally going to college for computer science, I now see the future of computers rather repulsive.

In so many ways I see the future heading towards a life like on the Wall-E space ship. Blissfully good in ignorance possibly, but that is just not me.

My hero growing up was MacGyver. "His mind is the ultimate weapon!" I'm with you Michael, I'm a 90's baby that was born like 20 years too late ;) .

I use Postimage.org. It's free, you can resize photos when you upload them, no ads, and has always worked very well for me on Windows XP, 7 and 10....

That's also the reason I didn't take any schooling. I have no clue what I want to do, but I knew I was good and well done with it all after high-school.

I frequently quote the movie Idiocracy, and I think we're heading that way. Similar outcomes!
