Lol, production work is quite different from custom projects. The only photo documentation is for the insurance companies. |

I read a recent article about Tesla wanting to certify more repair shops to invest in equipment and training to meet their high standards. In BC a lot of their cars are being written off due to lack of shops certified to fix them for seemingly minor damage. This seems like a (local) opportunity for your shop! https://electrek.co/2017/05/17/tesla-body-shop-program-equipment/ |

It's sorta been a dream of mine to bring my turbo wagon out to your shop and have it restored back to it's correct color. I'm no body worker so i can't do what you do with out years of practice. All the tiny dents these cars get over the years and the faded paint just show it's age. Some day I'm going to come by your shop and get my car fully done up. |

Yea, the number of tiny dents that can show up on the thin sheet metal is breathtaking. Even if there are no big dents, you pretty much have to skim the whole car with filler, and then block it down. |

Getting a couple boxes moved out of my shop and over to the new job today. It takes a few tools to be a collision tech, so I am bringing the big box over there, and a roll cart for the the tools I need the most often.

Thanks for including a Metro in the picture to demonstrate scale..though it would also have been nice to see it towing a small trailer carrying your smallest tool cabinets.

I have often wished for a hitch and tiny trailer set up for a metro. |

I have been pretty busy with the new job, plus all the work I do in my own shop on nights and weekends, so I don't have much time here on the forum. I still peek in at the active topics every day, but too busy to spend much time here. I am buried in work at the new job, and there is a lot of pressure to crank out the production. This is good though, since many collision shops where I have worked in the past did not have enough work to keep up with me. I have been having to shuttle a few tools back and forth between the new job and my own shop, since I cannot afford to have the same level of tooling in both places. I will just have to add a few tools at a time as I can afford them, but shuttling them back and forth works for now, and allows me to make money in both places. |

Working my tail off at the new job. Lots of work, more than I can get to. This is a good thing, since I have had to wait around for wrecks to come in at some of my previous jobs. The collision shop where I work gets lots of really heavy hits, which is right up my alley. |
