This might seem like a strange question to pose on GMF.. but I having been unable to find whitewall tires in stock at tire stores. They just look at me funny... I'd drive to Washington if someone knows where u can buy em. Edit: I bet I'll see a personalized Google ad in the upper left corner of this page in a few minutes.. Coker Tire in Tennessee does lots of old tire types that aren't available anywhere else. https://www.cokertire.com/tires/styles/whitewall-tires.html Edited by Metromightymouse, Jun 16 2017, 08:05 PM.

Toyo Eclipses have a little bitty whitewall, if you have them installed with the whitewall out, anyway... |

Go into a Walmart tire and lube. We have a website where we can order almost any tire to the store within 24 hours usually. |

Whatever happened to whitewall tires? In the 50s thru 80s they were seen as luxurious, while blackwall tires were just plain and boring. I'll be due for new tires in the next year or so, and I may try to get whitewalls just for kicks. |

Thanks for the replies everyone. It looks like I will see which Walmart has or can bring in the Uniroyal Tiger Paws which I see are available in whitewalls for Metro sized 13 inchers. Those Coker tires are neat! Would be good for a 70's restoration project |

For classic car tires Coker Tire has the best selection. Have used them for years. I won't shop at a Wallmart so I would find a independent tire dealer that would sell the Uniroyal Tiger Paws. The best way to keep the white wall really white is to spray a DRY white wall with Westley's Bleach White and soak a SOS or Brillo pad in water then scrub the white wall and rinse. This is great for taking the blue off the new white wall. |

Hmm.. If i did that, I'd have to add a Continental spare tire bumper kit to match! |
