Excuse my ignorance, but it looks like it has three foot pedals. Gas and brake I get with an automatic.....but what's the use of the third pedal? Installed clutch pedal in case of future conversion to manual tranny??

wondering about the power button on shifter and only has "D"and "L"...does it have a different TCM that makes the shift pattern change? or keeps it in second gear for passing? or maybe cuts the ac off...

Hmm.. That looks just like my vert. It even has the E-CVT transmission. (final drive axle is 4.764 with top ratio 0.441) Except mine has travelled a bit less and is in Triton blue (it matches the red one shown in the Cultus brochure). Someone here should buy the red one. It's a fair price and some of the potential glitches for import to US include: (1) for US federal import 25 year exemption, the manufacturing date should be 25 years or more after July 1993. (In Canada, this is 15 years) (2) check your state for insurance and other licensing requirements for RHD cars. |

The CVT has 2 forward ratio limit selections. There is also a Power and Snow button on the dash. Snow uses a taller ratio to start. Power mode holds RPM higher before shifting ratios. The Eco button on the A/ C seems to engage the compressor less often. Edited by suzukitom, Jun 17 2017, 01:47 AM.

Well, I guess that answers that question, for me. I've been wondering for a couple months now, if the wheels on this old derelict, were actually real wheels and not just some funky cheap aftermarket plastic wheelcovers. Based on the ones pictured on the Cultus 'vert, I would have to say, that is what they must have come off of, originally. Man, wouldn't I just to have them; especially if they're lighter than the my steelies. ![]() ![]() *Hey, Ray! You're down in that neck-o-the-woods. How'z about you snag 'em and bring to 'Palooza for me? *Dayum! It's even got a set of Swift mirrors on it. I hadn't noticed that before. Hell, for all I know, it might already be one of Hotrodray's cars.

The Cultus wheels are flat with edges and the ones on the green Metro are curved at the edges, different wheels. I believe the ones on the Metro are from Prime wheels. |
