The coat hanger alternator belt tensioner I found on one of mine looks like quality compared to this. The hanger actually worked but you had to put up with constant squealing of the belt so it wasn't perfect. If you went through water at night the lights would visibly dim as the belt slipped more. I fixed this and replaced the belt as I am sure it was toast from all the slipping. Conor |
