I got a 91 metro, and am making it a project car of sorts. Stock wise, it is unequipped with air conditioning, so naturally, I am looking for parts as I am unable to utilize a donor car ![]() Anyone here have some of these bits available? Parts I need: Harness (interior and underhood) Brackets for compressor and all peripherals (this seems to be a biggy D:) Lines (already have the line with the sight glass) Accelerator switch and any other switches and relays Parts I already have or are easily available on the market: Evaporator box on/off switch vacuum switching valve compressor (need to buy) condenser fan (need to buy) condenser (need to buy) reciever drier (need to buy) |

First...Welcome to the Fun Next...when looking for hoses and hard parts I would suggest looking for '94 hard parts (hoses and cores), because they were designed for 134a freon and will fit your '91... the parts needed... compressor compressor bracket Belt idler pulley and bolt assm. low side rubber line high side rubber line condensor condensor fan receiver/drier receiver/drier bracket cond. to drier pipe drier pipe joint (sight glass) drier outlet pipe (one that attaches to the pipe joint) condenser inlet pipe compressor liquid line both short lines that go through the bulkhead to the evap core evap core evap case a/c amplifier expansion valve evap core temp sensor under dash wiring under hood wiring 2 relays for the power distribution box under the hood 30 amp fuse vacuum switching valve and bracket... Accelerator cut off switch for gas pedal dual pressure switch for the a/c (goes on the liquid line) and even though your metro didn't come with a/c it probably has the overheat/cut off switch already mounted into the lower intake right above the alternator... We have a lot of members up that way so hopefully you can find what you need...if not, I have a lot of this but cost and shipping could get expensive... Happy Hunting... |

What do you have, and if I can't seem to find any washingtonians with these bits, what would we be looking at costs? the hardest bit seems to be the pressure switch, and the lines, I have the bit that has the high side fitting on it, and a whole evaporater core with lines that come out of it, as far as lines are concerned ![]() accelerator cut off switch sounds nice.... wire harness is a maybe....if i could find out pinouts I may be able to jerry rig something up lol |

Wiring connectors for early Japan built Swifts, Sprints and Metros may be in place to support dealer installed A/C kits. Try looking at the A/C section of the wiring diagrams for for a 91 Swift here: http://metroxfi.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/suzuki_swift_1991.pdf |
