Bought this for my 93. 2 DIN unit that screws together easily with the factory radio cage/sleeve. Has more features than I can probably ever figure out, and honestly is on par with the factory Alpine media system in my $70,000 Laramie Lomghorn Dodge as far as modern amenities and features are concerned.

Last time I bought an aftermarket stereo, $2000 wouldn't have bought something as nice as this- so $236 is an absolute steal.

You can pick up a $20 head unit from Walmart that has everything but a CD player. But you always get what you pay for.

No alterations, nothing had to be cut in any way. Harness was not violated using the proper adapter, factory cage, bezel, etc. required no modification at all. The factory Delco which loses all memory and goes back to 98.1 every time the car goes over a bump can go right back in place like it was never touched in less than 5 minutes.

I'm at an age now where cost is much less of a determining factor than what I want. To buy less than what I expect is a waste of money and time. Making the transition from an overpowered, overweight luxury liner to an ultra frugal minimalist Japanese antique was effortless, and frankly favorable.

Making the transition to an antique cheapest-of-the-cheap audio setup was much more painful.

Luckily, due to the fact most factory media interfaces are preferrable to aftermarket ones, the aftermarket was forced to step up their game and lower their prices drastically.

Having a very nice, feature packed modern media interface is very affordable now, especially when you buy it a piece at a time.

After all, it's not like fuel cost is killing me! XD
