injector cleaner; Not fuel treatment

Who has used a fuel injector cleaner and what brand name did you use? I'm not looking for the type you add to the tank but the type you would use in a external canister and clean the injector either as the engine runs or with the injector removed.

i like ethyl alcohol. strip the injector of as much plastic as you can, pull the filter basket and o-rings. put the injector into a baby food jar and pour in the alcohol, removing as much air space as possible before screwing on the lid.

submerge the jar under water in an ultrasonic bath and power it up. the water bath conducts the ultrasonic energy through the glass and into the ethyl alcohol where it mechanically agitates the injector and aids the chemical process.

if you just use the alcohol as a bath, the ultrasonic action quickly evaporates the alcohol. doing it the way i described lets you use the alcohol many times without much loss. ;)

Thanks for the ideas. The small jar should help from having to use as much cleaner.
