No Fram filters! This is an excellent piece of advice.I disagree with the part about using a "nicer" Fram filter. They're all Fram, and I'm pretty confident that they all suck. I'm ok with Purolator, Wix, Bosch, Napa Gold (So, y'know, Wix...) Motorcraft... ![]() Maybe some others? But no Fram. |

They did back a few years ago. I personally before them only used mobile one extended performance which is now annual protection, but after all the testing I've seen people do on the used oil analysis and the filtration, break opens of the filter and such, I will forever use the ultra synthetic until something better comes along. I'd seriously suggest looking into on bobistheoilguy on the info, I wouldn't put it in my car or risk my engines health over a few dollars. |

I cant get over how great this car runs I have slowed down because my registration is expired lol but still after driving it so hard I guess I didn't "Hurt" it...I wrote down what you said the good news is they built an "OReillys right acroos the street from Autozone how funny but atleast it gives a choice. Thanks for your help

There's no question that the bottom of the line Fram filter had quality issues about 15 years ago. Not sure if that tarnishes the entire company, or if it's even still true today. |
