Advance Auto Parts Is Running A Shockingly Good Deal on Car Batteries Today

Posted Image

Enter code EM308A at checkout and you can save yourself 30% off car batteries today at Advance Auto Parts. They’re also running 20% off sitewide for anything else you might need with code A82. Unfortunately, you can only use one promo code per transaction, so if you end up buying something in addition to a battery, I recommend making separate purchases.

AA had better discounts up until recently you can find about 30% off all things at adv. They did have 40 off 100 for the longest time but I haven't seen that in a while.

Also, if you are local to AA and know you are going to make a big purchase, go do a loaner tool over $100. They will give you $20 off 100 coupon. You can apply that and the discount code. Also look at ebates.com, sometimes they will give you a few percent back on all purchases.

I don't get much in the way of AA discounts here in NYC. I get the newsletter and it's more about travel

Just a heads up for anyone looking to get batteries... I have 2 Advance Auto "Silver" batteries, 1 Gold, and 1 Titanium (old Gold version)... the 2 Silver batteries are barely 3 years old and wont hold a charge over 6v even after several "desulphate/recharge cycles"... the other batteries are over 7 (one is almost 10) years old and hold a charge just fine.

I think it was in a Consumer Reports, has the "Die Hard" branded batteries tested as the best batteries for several years in a row... I know the next time I need a battery replaced, I will buy some other branded battery... I'm already out $200+ for those batteries that are 3 years old :x
