I'll just stick to my Metros

is that car for sale? :drool

just trying to give you an excuse to build another one. :D
Everything is for sale, but I doubt anybody would ever pay me enough to part with any of them. The darker blue one in the background of that pic turns a lot of heads in a way that a mirage never will...

This one gets more looks and attention than a mirage too.

I have seen many Metros and Swifts here that look cooler than the Mirage. The pic below is my "no frills" plane Jane Metro EV, which does not look anywhere near as cool as some of the Gt Swifts and Metros that I have seen members post here on the forum, but I think it looks better than a Mirage.

While it's certainly no BMW Z roadster, personally, I take no exception to the body styling of the current Mirage. It's svelte, modern, and mainsteam looking, without being quirky, like a Nissan Cube or something. That's pretty much all one can ask, or otherwise expect, from a vehicle in its price range.

That you seem to be rather smitten with the styling of 25 y/o econobox, is quaint, but hardly mainstream, or anything less than a, highly subjective, personal opinion. I kind of like the, spartan and no frills, clean lines look of my, MKII Metro, too, but I wouldn't care for the odds on a, nationwide poll on which is the more "attractive" car body style, the MKII Metro, or the current day, Mirage.

Vanity, is in the eye of the license plate holder: 2EA.THR.OWN

2 Swifts n a Turbo Sprint

Came to read about Elio failing...

Read about Metro vs Mirage hate fest again.

Damn GM for gutting Suzuki so they had to bolt from North America. Sigh...

Also the Swift/Metro/Firefly/Sprint cars were an amazing combination of simple and complex. If GM built it, it would have had push rods and a solid beam under the back end. It's kind of amazing how few cars under 20k have independent rear suspension.
