Not a bad list, I agree with most of these, especially #5. https://www.compare.com/auto-insurance/guides/top-10-ugliest-cars Not many cars can get on the same list as that Aztek... Edited by evmetro, Jan 22 2018, 01:00 AM.

I also was never impressed with the Aztek. In my opinion, the worst car on that list is the Nissan Cube. However, my favorite ugliest line has to be the Citroen. All the way from the 50s, through the 80s, they look BAD. I have a link from Wiki, and if you take a look at the 1933 P17C, which I hadn't seen before, it looks like half tank, half pickup. Very weird. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citro%C3%ABn |

mirage - "a shockingly cheap feeling interior make the Mirage a chore to drive, " So why is it shocking that a cheap car has cheap interior? And how does the interior make a car a chore to drive? That's one thing that annoys me about writers and journalists. Also reminds me of when I try to find a simple recipe for a meal.....I Google it and every damn articles has a stupid 3 paragraph intro. "Remember the times when you would jump in your parents car and drive through the wind and snow to go to your grandma's house? Every time you opened her large lake door, the smell of freshly baked cookies would go into your body and warm your soul. The smell would make any sad thoughts immediately go away...." JUST GIVE ME THE F'N DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO MAKE THE GD COOKIES!! ok Rant over. I agree with the I-miev.....just doesn't have a good range. The fists are straight trash. The Chrysler 200 isn't a bad looking car, but it probably has the same engine has the fiat. I really don't know about the rest, but the Toyota is pretty cool looking. |

^^IDK what happened, but a completely different list loaded the first time so that's why the cars I'm talking about or not on the list. lol. Or maybe I'm going crazy. I really don't know. I really don't think most of those cars look that bad. That cube is ugly. I think the Baja is sweet. Evmetro, did some potential customers buy mirages? We will never have a shortage of salt when you are around. lol Edited by Horn, Jan 22 2018, 02:20 AM.

"The Mirage does pack decent fuel efficiency and is tough on emissions, but it’s not enough to salvage its forgettable first impression." How odd that a $12,000 economy car would commit the sin of being "forgettable". The Baja would have been seriously BRAT-like and cool if they hadn't tacked two extra doors onto it. They should have gone full El Camino with it instead of putting on a bed barely large enough for a suitcase so it could also have a fuckin' back seat. Who was this car designed for, anyway? People who didn't want to haul 1/2 a cubic yard of fertilizer in their Subaru WAGON?? There's very little which could be hauled in this car that couldn't be hauled in an Outback. The Aztec is just plain weird looking. From the side it's hard to to tell which direction its pointing. I always thought the main problem with the looks on the thing were the tiny 14"-ish wheels they used. These cars had high ground clearance, and the small wheels just made them look stilted and dorky. The Element isn't bad looking, but it was quite expensive when new. I met a guy with one, and he loved it. It was designed to literally be hosed out, and he did that very thing from time to time. All the waterproofing made the car costly, and the toddler-with-a-crayon styling didn't help. I always thought the BMWs were kinda cool looking. The H3 looked like a $60,000 4wd penis extension...which is all it ever was. I also always though the reverse-slanting roofline and upward-slanting belt line on the Soul...and the Paceman, for that matter...looked stupid. Edited by Cobrajet25, Jan 22 2018, 05:22 AM.

I am probably in the minority with regards to the the Kia Soul. I liked them when they first came out and I like the second generation more. I will admit I am biased since I bought a 2016 last January lol |

This isn't auto journalism, this is clickbait. They really thought the Baja was the ugliest car? It only proves they don't know too many cars. For example Mitsuoka Nouera Nissan Juke Fiat Multipla |

The Mirage produces DECENT fuel efficiency? Laughable! The Mirage produces the BEST MPG when compared to cost of purchase. According to this report from Green Car-most mpg for the least money the 2015 Mirage ranked #1 when comparing/contrasting mpg with overall cost of purchase. As a matter of fact, it wasn't even CLOSE, as the Mirage averaged $372 per mpg, while the second place 2016 Toyota Prius C averaged $407 per mpg and the third place 2016 Chevrolet Spark averaged $418. In terms of the Mirage being "ugly," who gives a !! I tend to remember plenty of articles regarding the ugliness of the Metro, such as this article Top Ten Worst Cars of the Last 20 Years and this one Top Ugliest Cars Known to Man. It's clear the author of The Top Ten Ugliest Cars has an agenda against the Mirage, because he couldn't even accurately report the benefits of it, solely focusing on its perceived LOOKS and calling its mpg "decent." DECENT?? More like BEST when compared to cost of purchase. Those who ignored the rantings of the so-called experts when it came to the Metro are the same ones who will ignore criticisms against the Mirage. At the end of the day, those who purchase the Mirage more than likely do so because of the combination of low cost of purchase and top rate fuel efficiency. As for me, I didn't NEED to purchase a Mirage, but I WANTED to purchase a Mirage, understanding it to be an even greater buy than the Geo Metro when they first came out. |

I like the look of the Mini and the Lamborghini. I will have to settle for a used Mirage... some day. $14k.... just too much if I could just get one for say $800... I would probably do it. Thing is parts for a Mitzi Mirage, are I suppose expensive compared to my DDrvr 97 Suzuki Geo. I will look around on the Mirage for used price just for curiosity sake. How much for rebuild cost for a Mirage or a back or front bumper assembly... my area in the winter people slide into each other or the ditch often. Have not seen a single Mitsi Mirage in the PnP, for a Suzi Geo I can get a whole bumper assemble metal and plastic for $28 right now... several to choose from. I average 45 MPG, in the Geo, I have AC, a nice stero, I need to add a stereo with blue tooth and cruise control. |

I was a little stunned the first time I drive a mirage into my stall at work. Many cars, including Metros, have cheap interiors, but the mirage interior is extra cheap. The doors sound cheesier than any other car when you close them, and there is a "cheapest money can buy" feel about the whole car. It feels counterfeit, kinda like Mitsu is playing a fast one to cheat car buyers out of their money. Cheap econo box cars may be unattractive and maybe a little cheesy, but the Mirage is even worse since it is only an imitation cheap econo box. |

I like the looks of the Mirage better than the Versa which is probably the closest cheap car out there. I don't know why they like to pick on it so much. Remember it is what it is. I don't think it looks bad. Remember this is like a Metro, not a fashion statement. As for the "box" cars, I always felt the Soul was the best looking of the bunch. I will say I never really liked this color in the Mirage. http://ourautoexpert.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/2014-Mitsubishi-Mirage-front.jpg Either you like it or you hate it. My sales guy hated it. The finance guy thought it was "fun" and liked it. Overall this is just clickbait crap like that one that listed the Mirage engine as one of the worst engines ever. How can you take that list seriously when it omits the Chrysler 2.7 and Ford Split Port? https://www.cheatsheet.com/automobiles/cars-with-the-most-horrible-engines-of-all-time.html/?a=viewall Conor |
