Odd car spotted during blizzard

Biggest snowstorm since 2011 for the twin cities metro today. On my commute home I came up on this old gem cruisin with wiskey plates white walls and no rear window. Can anyone identify what type of car it is?

Turbo3 and Twincam Tweaker

there's an "oldy and moldy!"

2 cylinders, 3 lug bolts, and one spoke on the steering wheel. :whistle

it's a wonder that it is running let alone in a blizzard. ;)

It's a 2cv, 9hp and 1,300lbs... I think our Metro's are a little over powered at ~50-70hp and 1,700-2,100lbs :lol

I'm totally awesome! I swear.

Looks like something evemetro would have put on this list, just below the Mirage.

Wow if its the original engine wow it was going 30-40mph in some snow were i was limited to about 50 with the metro and snow tires, there were some pretty good ruts out there.

I went thru two snow bank ruts that had too have been 12” or better deep and packed hard by the sound of it rubbing on the bottom of the car. I got a feeling my frame brace helped me by breaking it up a little as i plowed thru. My engine bay and front grill is pretty packed today.

a beautiful Citroen 2CV!

as important to the French as the Model T was to America.

prototypes were hidden from the Nazis during its development though WW2.

I would buy one if I had the space.

here is the 2CV prototype called TPV (toute petite voiture)

My GF had one back in the mid 80s. Loved it. Not fast or flashy, but fun.
