Check out this product. I was thinking how in hotter climate areas it gets hot in the geo metros. The 95 and newer geo 2 door hatchback have no way to crack open the rear windows. If you do not have air conditioning it gets pretty hot since air cannot escape the back. One solution is to add a sunroof and i did that. but now i see this product. I think it would be great for the geo to help air escape from the back. Maybe in cars without AC add a sunroof for $200 or add this to your roof or below the rear glass to help air escape when you have windows open

Any junkyard that has a big truck (Pete, KW, Fruitliner, CornBinder) with a sleeper on it has at least 2 of these. A drill to the rivets & snatch em off.

But, speaking off sunroofs....what's the go-to sunroof size? Is it GeoPet that has 2?

Quadratec sells them with free shipping cheaper than amazon. CR Laurence AP1530B5H AutoPort 15x30 Solar High Performance Glass Sunroof
$209.89 each

but when its windy if your windows are not rolled down or you do not have a rear vent sometimes the wind rushing over the sunroof when the glass is totally removed makes a noise effect like blowing in the rim of the old glass coke bottles. LOL but anyway it is really awesome having a sunroof in a geo helps keep it cool either when you just have it open a bit like a hatch, or removed fully. also great view of the sky.

my friend has one of those small pop up vents in his van. what is neat about it is it pops opens in either direction

GeoPet does have twin sun roofs on a four door wagon of his (if he still has it...I think it was for sale at one point).

I don't know what the recommended size for Metros is, but I stole an aftermarket popup sun roof from a 98 Mustang at the Pick and Pull today, and it looks like it will fit okay.

The roof of the geo metro is just a think sheet of metal without pillars or any obstructions so as long as it fits in the roof you can just cut to size.

At least for the pre 95's, there is a number of stiffeners that run left to right.
