My Geo doesnt have an A/C installed and I want to go and start hunting parts down, but I really dont know where to start...or the entirety of what I need. Any advice on where I can find a whole A/C system or a list of the parts needed for a full A/C?

Do you mean it doesn't have a compressor, or no a/c related components at all?

get a donor car or hit the JY. Here is a link to the parts breakdown so you can see what is needed.

ive done a donor car on my 94 when i had it. the "brain" i did not use, instead a couple of relays run off the 4 prong plug on the passenger fender to kick up the idle.. and just manually turned it off when i needed full throttle power. if i did it again i would have gotten everything. i did learn the factory Ac switch lasted longer when used o a relay lol

I have added AC to non AC geos several times. First one I did was on my DDvr 1994 XFI.

I got the AC from a junk yard geo. I have a thread on this I posted with pics, I will try and find.

In the mean time for the down and dirty, quick and easy list:
You will need from your donor Geo:
Compressor and bracket including idler tensioner.
Condenser and AC cooling fan and wiring
Piping from and to the fire wall
Misc brackets(There are only two or three)
Temperature plug at the bottom of the intake manifold
AC wiring harness(Runs from the fuse block to the compressor)
AC fuse relay(I believe there are two total)
AC cooling coil under the dash(comes with heater coil as a unit)
AC control module under the dash 1" by 4" approx. size, black in color
AC throttle switch(I believe it is green in color and used to cut out AC on throttle acceleration)
AC on/off switch from dash
Misc fan air plastic piping
You may need the pulley from the crank if your does not have a place for the AC belt
You will need an AC belt
You will at least need a cheapo AC charge kit from Chinamart, it is only like about $15, get the one with a gauge and you will need two cans of AC coolant and some AC oil.

Notes:
Piping from the AC cooling coil under the dash is a pain, be prepared to stand on your head to get it apart and the coil assemblies out, one of the pipes is an elbow joint right at the fire wall and must come apart(Unravel the black insulating goo around the pipe to be able to be able to take the elbow apart)then and only then will you be able to take the AC/Heat coil assembly out from under the dash)

To get this all out of the car from the junk yard is a 1 to 4 hour job depending on your skills

To get this in your car and running is a 4 to 8 hour or more job again depending on your skills. Hopefully you have charged you own AC unit before as this can be a little trying to get right and time consuming...OR once you get it all together take it in and have a shop charge your system.(Shop will charge your $60 to $120 to get it going including the AC coolant and oil)

I got all I needed from the junk yard(PnP) and it was about $60. AC coolant, was like $15.

AC from the dealer was like a $1600.
