I still need to figure out why I'm not getting any power to the fan. If people can tell me which fuse to check and or what else to track down the issue would be helpfull right now I unplugged the plug that is next to the radiator and have two wires touching the contacts and have them taped in place. It works for now but would like to actually figure out where my issue actually is.

So my radiator fan was not turning on! My friend helped my Jimmy rig it so it comes on any time the ignition is on. So my issue is I'm getting no power to the fan.
Are you wanting to test the fan circuit, I can post the wiring diagram if needed.

first, i'd replace the radiator cap. the cap should hold pressure to 13 psi. when the rubber seal on the radiator cap gets hardened by heat and age, it doesn't hold the porper cooling system pressure.

the radiator fan is controlled by a little relay that is seated next to the same type of relay used for the horn. those relays are located in a rubber collar attached to the front of the fuse and relay rack on the left strut tower.

the wires from the 2 pin coolant temp switch controls the relay, the relay turns the fan on and off.

a check you can make is to remove the jury rig and disconnect the plug to the coolant sensor and put a jumper wire in the plug terminals-if the fan comes on when you turn on the key all wires, fuses, relay's etc to the fan are good and the problem is probably the sensor itself-then you can hook up the jury rig again if desired-
