HI all. I am on the final lap to get this engine back in "green" 1996. The evaporator that I ordered has a built in tubing adapter and so you do not need the one that came on the original evaporator. It has to mount onto the radiator cross member at the top somewhere to prohibit vibration damage. Here is a pix of the problem. Has anyone ran into this problem? Do I need to re-fabricate the bracket?https://www.dropbox.com/s/rbxrzfe8zksp54i/AC%20BRACKET.jpg?dl=0 Thanks!

My 97 has a replacement condenser and this is how they mounted the bracket holding the line in front. Not sure if this is what you are talking about.![]() ![]() |

! oh so it does mount. That sticks way out there! I made a "kinked" bracket so that it partially hides back behind the crossmember. Now I know! Thanks |
