From Geo's Garage, post #67 http://geometroforum.com/topic/8111407/5/ 89-94 freon capacity: 134a system=17.6 oz. freon...3.4oz. of pag 100 oil add .07oz. for condenser and .03oz. for the receiver/drier r12 system =18.0 oz. freon...3.0oz. of MINERAL oil add .02oz. for condenser and .03oz. for the receiver/drier Retrofit Oil, or better known as ESTER OIL, is compatible with both systems and is a lot less hydroscopic (absorbs moisture from the air) though I recommend envirosafe if still using the r-12 system... 1 6oz. can of enviro safe equals 16oz. of 134a (1 can is only 12oz.) so basicly one can of envirosafe will work for the r12 system without changing anything but the retrofit fittings and/or replacing the "O" rings...
