I did the zip tie repair on a non-functioning blower switch and got the 2 low speeds back. Dropped the glove box but I don't see the resister. It might be blocked by the computer? Anyone know this job? |

If just left of the glove box, unplug it, remove one Phillips screw and presto, pulls right out.. |

Usually the blower resistor is bypassed in the high position. (I don't have a 97 schematic to confirm) |

High position is bypassed? That makes sense. If thats so I guess my switch is still bad in the higher 2 positions. Oh well I still get the second speed. Getting hot these days... |

So have you found the resistors for the blower and verified that there not burnt up? Or have you given up all together? |
