That is actually part of the plan. I just need to get some money to get the rest of this stuff done. My #1 priority was to get the exhaust done, which is done now, i'll have pics and vids this weekend.

I have put 500 miles on the car so far, i'm going to wait until 1000 miles before i start boosting it more.

I used the money i had set aside for tires for the rebuild. As of right now i have the wheels sitting in my room, without tires.

Oh well, I guess priorities have to be made. Still, I'm looking forward to the result when you do get them on.

It's running good. Today i put my GTI fuel pump on. It fixed my leaning out problem. I am about to hook the wastegate up to see if i can run on 5psi safely. It was definately one of the easier things i have fixed on this car. I will get a 0-60 vid sometime this next week.

Ok, i hooked the wastegate up and drove up and down the street. The car pulls like a bat out of hell (before it starts to lean out). I only went up the street twice, but i was in shock at how it pulled at only half throttle. According to my butt dyno i would have to guess mid 16s easily.

Now it doesn't feel fast at all with it back disconnected.

Another update. I put the front swaybar off of an mK4 on my Metro the other day. It was a direct fit, and went on without any problems at all. It definately reduced the body roll that i was accustomed(sp?) too. I also have the rear swaybar from another MK4, but there are not any mounting holes for it in the rear, so i'll have to drill some when i get a chance.

So in review,

Go out and buy a front swaybar from an MK4 at your local J/y, you will not be disappointed.
