I was referring to ggwoman, who lives in Hawaii,
She can't drive here,
The bridge is out.

I did check into shipping costs though. $1200 to ship to San Diego and then what a fine drive it would be to cross country. In a couple more years, after I finish paying off my debts and save a bit I will be there! I miss driving across the mainland! :drivin

Is the date set in stone yet?
I will not make the date official until I can reserve the pavilion. Reservations for the pavilion cannot be made this early in the year, so as soon as I can, I will announce it.

I hope that most decide to camp the entire weekend, rather than just one day. I had a great time during the first annual and I'm really looking forward to it again. The drive-in is gonna be a highlight for sure!

I would like to be there too but I am kind of tight on vacation days this year. I can probably swing one day but means I would be there for Saturday only. 16 hours each way for me.

5.5 hours; 322 miles.

I think it sounds awesome, and it's not terribly far from me. A Saturday makes it better yet. Plus, this gives me more motivation to solve that acceleration problem once and for all.

And thanks for giving us the heads-up well in advance. I will ask Honey Mustard what she thinks when I go to lunch. :hmm

I have to give the boss my vacation requests (for summer) by the end of January.
Is it possible you may have a date for us by then?
Thanx,
S.

Company I work for requires the same thing. I usually just pick some days in Oct., Nov. and Dec. and assign all days, then come back later and use them as I need them. All the employees do it and the company seems to expect it. Not sure what the January requirement is for, seems kind of silly!

I will bring a bunch of vodka and lemonade, along with some old waffles I found in the freezer. :O

The park starts taking reservations on Feb 16th, so I guess at least one pavilion should be available on July 25th. I say we make it official and hope for the best.

I am still considering opening up my yard for camping. I can rent a porta-potty or 2 and there is room for like 8 tents here. We can also have a nice bonfire :)
